Dear future self…

Ok so i'm here to tell you all the amazing things we did when we were  at College Street Normal School … here we go just don't laugh if it's cringe or embarrassing ok ! Here we go.

Do you remember walking into all the 3 classrooms? I  could smell summer and a little scent of paint. Try hard to remember all the amazing teachers names, they were the ones who encourage you to try everything even if it’s hard or boring.

Do you remember Us  getting into Band and chorale ? It felt like all my Music chorea started. When I got into Band I was so happy to be a vocalist in it.  At college street normal school I tried out for all there music opportunities and got in if you still  remember open mic when the last open mic and the judges were giving out scholarships well yeah we got two  scholarships and it was the time of our lives. It was so fun singing on stage even though it's nerve racking. After all of the open mic performances we have improved every time. Well I loved all of the opportunities so I will carry on my dream.

Remember production ? We  practiced nearly every day  that was so tiring and fun! I made an amazing Graphic design that got chosen to be the cover for our production.  The band got to perform, Best day of my life for the ball  music LIVE! I'm so sad it’s over because it was fun practising but happy we did all this amazing work.

Diji awards were do i start? MY amazing friends and i made a music video about bullying and our message was to just stand up for yourself and have fun don't let them get to you.  Also our Graphic designs we made about Anzac ( Gladys goes to war) and production cover was in the finalist not only our Graphic designs came first but but our music video came first and it got chosen for the supreme awards Maaan that was amazing!

Well future self if I keep going on your be bored to death so future self we did amazing things at College Street Normal school and archieved amazing things keep on going future self and dream big.

athletics...

August 19th 2005

Dear diary I have athletics next week but … I have to vs the fastest people in championships trials  I hope that i come first to beat their record and I will be famous …… wish me luck diary!!!

As I walk to the courts to practise my sprints alone  I see someone running as fast as they can practising around the field I knew it , it was usain bolt he's the world's best runner and i'm competing with him in the championships I  thought to myself as he sprints  past me knocking of my socks  how am I gonna beat him ?? I start sprinting to show off but he was still faster … I started walking back home thinking that I should just drop out of champs.

I hear someone's footsteps outside of my window I jump out to see who it was … I move the curtain slightly aside and a picture  of usain bolt beating me in the sprints popped up and that's what I see at everything I look at it brings me down but I won't let it.

I go out to the courts again to practise I see usain bolt but I  threw my chin up and started working out and I new that if I can dream anything I have to make it instead of thinking I ran up and down the courts as fast as I could .

Dear diary tomorrow is the big day and I need to beat usain bolt because that's my dream I hope that my dream comes true wish be the best luck in the whole entire world.

HHHHHH deep breaths mum said. In my head “ I Can do it” just pops up non stop I eat my healthy breakfast nervously I cross my fingers and toes ready to rock that field mum calls out let's go you're gonna be late I meandered to the car so I don't lose my energy.

OOOOOH here we go after I  do all of my other sport and I look over to the sprints course my chills just creep up my spine  slowly with a nervous look on my face they call out our names and tell us to each be in a lane  they get us prepared and they call out…….

ON YOUR MARK GET SET GOOOOO”

I run as fast as I can pumping my small arms up and down I just had to look back and I  see usain bolt catching up but I sprint as hard as ever like there was a big giant chocolate bar that is 1 m tall at the finish line. I kept on going as hard as ever and made it to the finish line I can't believe my dream came true I just realized that if you wanna do something you have to make it instead of giving up.

I felt proud getting that gold medal.

Band camp

On Friday 28 th of October  the C.S.N.S Band aka ‘Unravelled Chords’ travelled to a musical wonderland ‘The Stomach’ for a day of workshops along with bands from Ross Intermediate, Roslyn, Mt Biggs, Russell Street and Monrad Intermediate.

As we waited for the bus were all nervous because we had never met any of the other children. We saw the bus approaching and chills crawled down our spines, but once we stepped in the bus everyone was clapping and welcoming us in.

The bus came to a halt at a extravagant white building. As soon as we stepped into The Stomach our eyes were attracted to an orange wall scattered with eye catching musical designs. After we had our introductions, the day was ready to rock!

Firstly we broke into our instrumental groups with the kids from other schools who played the same instrument as us. Our musical tutors took us on the adventure. We learned some technical and performance tricks to make our performances even better.

Boom , crash ! The notes of the keyboards filled the air. The Guitarists strummed away on their guitars, the drums and pulsed, the bassists learned their fretwork alphabet, while the vocalists sang in harmony.

After lunch we did some songwriting workshops. We were introduced to the circle of fifths to help us with putting chords together so the chords sounded marvelous. Each group wrote a song with their tutor and teachers. It was pretty amazing hearing how talented everyone is. Time flew by so quickly.

After the musical journey at the Stomach, we scampered back onto the bus, buzzing with excitement. Although, the journey was not over yet. On the way back to school we had a karaoke session - the bus driver said it was the most entertaining character he had ever taken!

It is sooo awesome that we got to meet all of the other kids that are musicians. We learnt a lot about our instruments and sound engineering. We can’t wait to put all the things into our next performances!

Global warning

Global warming is a major worldwide issue and is affecting the world and humans! I believe that it must be stopped because if it isn't the world would look like know one cares about it . There would be no Animals no trees, an ugly world! WE must do something to stop global warming!

Did you know vehicles cause global warming?

Did you know the cars, planes and every vehicle that uses gas causes global warming. The fumes coming out of a car is from the gas and it makes the air warm. Because there are millions of cars it causes lots of warm air so that's how global warming is starting. Scientist are constantly thinking of ways to prevent global warming. Inventing electric charged/power cars, so you charge overnight and use it without gas.

Animal’s losing homes!

Because  the air is  so warm it melts the ice and the ice turns  into water.  The water  keeps on rising every time the ice melts . If  we get rid of cars would that help the animals? The trees eat the carbon dioxide and then people cut them down and then it causes deforestation!

FACTORIES!

Factories cause global warming by their fumes  coming out of the tubes. The fumes makes the air hotter and hotter, because the fumes are warm.

People don't care!

Some people don't care about global warming  and they worry about themselves.

If you care about Global warming and you want to stop it here are some things  to help stop 1: plant more trees 2: turn off electronics when you don't need and do the right thing to help the world.

My friends

My friends are the most annoying people in the world JOKING!!...well maybe a little. We are dying because we only have one term left before we go to PNINS .  We cross our fingers and pray that we will be in the same class. My friends are like stars you never see them but you know that there always gonna be there for you. Hand on heart we r squad goals... xx

My Fathers day writting

For Fathers day i write a description about my dad. A description is describing your dad or whoever you right to.  This is my description to my dad.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY DADAH!

MY dad is someone really special in my life. I wake up everyday excited to make some more memorable times with my dad. I love to call you dad rather than your official name because one day you're not gonna be there and I cant call out to you and say DAD. My dad alway tries his best to get what I wish for. He would drive me to the shop and back and makes my wishes come true.

I would always come back from school and he's prepared food for me to eat. MY dad and I always make great, unforgettable memories when we go fishing we talk about our day for hours . My heart always belongs to my dad he tells me whats right and what's wrong because he cares about my bright future.

MY dad always puts his children first when he's busy and I ask him something he would do what I ask first. He's always patient for me, and  even though I’m  taller than my dad I still look up to him. My dad is Unique and is the BEST, the best advice he's  given me is don't tell mom when we secretly eat the rest of the ice cream.

I can't explain how thankful I am to have  my loving father in my life, He can embarrass me sometimes but  he  cares about at the end of the day. I'm pretty sure i'm his favorite (i think)

Kyrgyzstan  is a country that has 5.2 million people living in it . They have 18 athletes competing   in the 2016 olympics games.

 Kyrgyzstan is   rugged in  Central Asian country along the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean.  

In kyrgyzstan Manas, a warrior who united Kyrgyzstan, is undoubtedly the most popular folk hero in the country did u know Handshaking is a very important part of  Kyrgyzstan  culture. In kyrgyzstan People value cleanliness a lot here. You need to always take off your shoes before walking into anyone’s house.

Issyk-kul

In kyrgyzstan they have an environmental issue that is harming kyrgyzstan. In kyrgyzstan they have Air pollution affected by human beings. They have Factory that have steam coming out of tubes and Dissolving into the air. Sadly know one is doing anything to help stop the air pollution and it gets worser.

I think it’s sad because it get worse  and they also might have to stop cars because of their  Gas that they put into their vehicles. I really hope someone will make a change and stop it instead of  complaining and not doing that!

haiku poem

in class we have been doing haiku.  haiku is a poem that has five syllables for the fist  and seven syllables for the second and the last has five syllables. we had to do this for our priorities. 

College Street Normal School Production.

cinderella and rockerfella.

The school that i go to College Street Normal School is playing  a production called Cinderella and Rockerfella. We are having are very big performance at the Regent theatre on July the 4 and 5. Cinderella and Rockerfella is like just like cinderella but Rockerfella is a rockstar, and cinderella has a best friend called buttons and also there is no step mother theres a  nasty fairy that makes the clock go 1 hour forward at the ball. Everyone in the school has a part in the production. we have been practising for weeks and weeks.

My role in the production is at the ball i sing  with  the band while people is dancing. Before i start singing cinderella says "I think this is the best day of my life" and we start singing a song called Best day of my life. The 2 ugly step sisters try to get Rocky's attention so they both run onto the stage and sing with the band to try get attention but it doesn't work. It's kinda hard for me because after i sing i have to quickly take my clothes of and jump into the time dance that is at the ball after i sing and our dance is telling cinderella what the time is.


My Goals are to smile when m singing so that the audience can see they were having fun and there having fun so they can kind of join singing with us and so its not a waist of money and time for coming and just seeing us standing there like were gonna faint.

I really enjoy practice:practice makes perfect.
