College Street Normal School Production.

cinderella and rockerfella.

The school that i go to College Street Normal School is playing  a production called Cinderella and Rockerfella. We are having are very big performance at the Regent theatre on July the 4 and 5. Cinderella and Rockerfella is like just like cinderella but Rockerfella is a rockstar, and cinderella has a best friend called buttons and also there is no step mother theres a  nasty fairy that makes the clock go 1 hour forward at the ball. Everyone in the school has a part in the production. we have been practising for weeks and weeks.

My role in the production is at the ball i sing  with  the band while people is dancing. Before i start singing cinderella says "I think this is the best day of my life" and we start singing a song called Best day of my life. The 2 ugly step sisters try to get Rocky's attention so they both run onto the stage and sing with the band to try get attention but it doesn't work. It's kinda hard for me because after i sing i have to quickly take my clothes of and jump into the time dance that is at the ball after i sing and our dance is telling cinderella what the time is.


My Goals are to smile when m singing so that the audience can see they were having fun and there having fun so they can kind of join singing with us and so its not a waist of money and time for coming and just seeing us standing there like were gonna faint.

I really enjoy practice:practice makes perfect.

My favourite thing about learning in GRi11 2.0.

In my classroom GRi11 2.0 we have 4 different learning spaces. They are all called = The hang out, The hide out, The hall of fame and the Hub. At the start of the year our whole class came up that we have these different rooms to help us with our learning and we also go to those rooms  because of our moods and the way we feel. All the rooms has chairs and tables and bean bags to help help you relax while your reading or something.

The reason why its my favourite thing about learning in GRi11 2.0 is because i've never worked like that  before and it helps you learn really well. My favourite room is the The Hang out because its not to quiet and not to loud you just chill and do you your work. The hang out is a little room just enough for the people who want to work there.

kim and kendall.

• Best friend forever!

24.5.16 this is not a real story.

one day lived a girl named Kim k she was a really shy girl and she lived only with her mom. Her mum has a really busy job and tried her best to spend time with Kim. The next day her mum explained to her that they have to move to California because of her job. Kim was really depressed  because she's gonna miss all of her friends and family!

A few days later Kim was going to start her new school. As she walked into the classroom she saw these mean girls putting there legs on her desk like they ruled the world she didn't  want to say anything because she's  really scared of them they were shooting rubber  bands and chewing gum.

the next day she was getting her books out of her locker and came a cross a girl named Kendall Jenner. Kendall was a loud girl but she wasn't mean.  Kendall  walked up to Kim and asked  her if she's OK and to hang with her Kim was really surprised because no one is like Kendall and she looks mean!

All the time Kim's bean to school she has always gone through everything with Kendall until the day before Kim's birthday. When Kim got home her mum told her that she has to move again to NYC to the place she use to live. because she has to work there for nursing. Kim was really upset so she ran all the way to Kendall's house and explained what her mum told her they were both heart broken to hear the bad news. 

yay  Kim says  best day  ever not. Im really gonna miss you Kendall Im gonna miss u more Kim.

As Kim leaves she sits in the car looking back at Kendall crying.

 As Kim and her mum see the sign NYC she gets excited to see her family but missed Kendall so much. The next day at NYC it was Kim's birthday party secretly Kim's mum called Kendall to come  to her birthday party secretly . Kendall was so excited she went to town and brought presents for Kim's  surprise party. Yes its 7.00 says KIM b4 that everyone was hiding  waiting for Kim. As Kim walks in they all scream SURPRISE Kendall walks in and says hi bestie good news i'm living hear with my family and Kim says that she's living hear forever too.

Sports routation

Sports rotation  

Our school C.S.N.S has sports rotation going daily every Tuesday. Sports  rotation is when you have different active activities going on. On Tuesday  all class each go to a sport and when its half an hour we rotate  to another sport.

My favourite sport is Soccer because all you do is run and kick the ball to the goal is it a really easy and fun. Also i like soccer because when i go there we have a real nice coach that's gives us really good tips

we play a few soccer games and he and she will give us tips on what to do and what we need to improve after we play a few games of soccer we split up into a even team and verse each other.

soccer is a new sport that i tried and i love it when i first tried. if u a in to kicking then i recommend to try soccer
have fun. 

Early Mothers day Drama performance.

Early mothers day drama performance 

During the second Sunday of the 2 week holidays we had to come up with  something special  for early  mothers day so we went home and  and thought of something that would really touch there hearts. A couple days later  we all came together and decided to do a drama performance about what mothers do for us since we were born till now.

we practiced every second day and when it was nearly close to the day we got put into more pressure because they want it to be perfect and people were mucking around cause we have done it a lot of times. I tried my best to not bring my mum because its a surprised and i want here to be really surprised because she has never seen me  in one.

on the day we performed it exactly how the story goes and we put more effort and put all the mothers burst into tears. It was kind of odd because it wasn't even mothers day but we did our best.

Open mic challenge!!

THE OPEN MIC.

On Tuesday the 12th of April  i went down to a church and sang in front of a audience.
The point of open mic is to be confident and so other people can here your talent and you also tell your story to the audience.

Open mic is not x- factor or anything that has to be perfect. The open mic really helped me improve my stage fright and there are plenty more open mic's  if you still need help to improve or if you haven't done it. We also had a lady to give us tips to work on.

Netball

                                  Our school CSNS  is starting  winter/indoor NETBALL again.

I had to take a notice home to say I want to play. Then we go to are meeting with other people that want to play netball and write down a list of people that want to play. If you don't know how to play netball that's ok to play because your get more skills by practice/training and when you play at the ARENA. 

After people sign up we have trials to see what team that is suitable for them.When it is chosen we get our notice that has all of the information about our teams and coaches  and what time. we also get our uniform because we're representing our school.

Before our games we have practices/practice being in our positions. lucky last, we wait for our game /time on Saturday. 

I can't wait for the trials. Last year was my first time playing and I loved it! I can't wait to see what team I'll be in and for netball to start!

P.s Before  Saturday make sure you have your gear ready and some snacks.  

My favourite Space to learn in GRi11 2.0

My favourite space to learn in GRi11 2.0 is the hangout because it is a social room and it's not too quiet and not too loud. 

Milk in the class.

MILK

In our school CSNS we have milk delivered to our school . Milk is sent to school for the kids to drink

so they get strong and healthy bones. Milk is a really healthy drink.
What we do to order milk is we put our hands up if we want milk or if we don't want milk and we write down our class room number and how many we want. Then people get chosen to put milk into buckets and send them to classes.

When milk is delivered to our class people can go and get their milk when they feel like it so they don't rush at  the bucket at the same time. It is important to drink milk because it gives you strong and healthy bones.
